Description
I love this dress, but the lighting makes it difficult to see what's going on. It's a black one-shoulder gown of crinkled black silk with the strap held by a fibula, or pin. The crinkled silk is sheer at the very top. Just below the sheer strip, at what might be the top of an under layer, is a very faint gold scroll pattern, possibly embroidered on the lower layer. There's one or possibly two wide waistbands, a band across the top of the bust, and another band across the hips, almost like they're mimicking the ribbon on her other costumes. A grey satin wrap with a black one below it. One of them has some gold scrollwork on the edge. The two wraps seem to cross the arms in opposite directions so that the grey wrap comes over the shoulder in front of the arms while the black comes from behind the back and over the tops of the arms. That doesn't make much sense, but take a look at the pictures. Her hair is tied up with a piece of sheer white ribbon.
