Grey & Purple

Description

A dark purple underdress with a grey jacket. This costume shares an underdress with her purple costume. It had a center front seam on the bodice, which probably continues the rest of the way down. At the base of the sleeve is a piece of fabric attached at the wrist which hangs down to her ankle. The jacket is ankle length in the back, knee length in the front with belled sleeves which are open below the elbow. The low v-neck is decorated with 5 tassles running down each side. It is open down the front and ties just under the bust with gold cord.

This dress was on display at FIDM in 2002

Grey & Blue Embroidered

Description

A long light grey coat with bell sleeves and a rolled collar in front. Light blue panels of brocade or printed fabric are sewn into the top and side seams over the front panels. They are loose at the bottom. It closes in front with hooks & eyes. The back is completely blank. The sleeves and possbily the whole jacket are lined in ice blue. It's worn over a light blue dress, possible the same underdress as her blue costume.

Purple

Description

This dress shares and underdress with her purple & grey costume. It has a piece of fabric attached over the wrists which hangs down to the ankle. The jacket is a deep v-neck which closes discretely in the front and is open past the waist. There is a diamond patterned belt at her waist. The neck and center opening of the jacket are decorated with a patterned ribbon and small pearls. The pearls are also around the arm holes, but do not continue to the back of the jacket. We never see the full length of the skirt, but the jacket likely reaches past the knees and may extend longer in the back.

Blue

Description

A light blue underdress with a darker blue, almost purple overjacket. This costume may share an underdress with her blue embroidered costume. The jacket is lighter blue in the bodice and the lower sleeves. The jacket has a dark blue or purple collar and closes just under the bust with a single closure.

Green

Description

A light blue underdress with a darker blue, almost purple overjacket. This costume may share an underdress with her blue embroidered costume. The jacket is lighter blue in the bodice and the lower sleeves. The jacket has a dark blue or purple collar and closes just under the bust with a single closure.

Dark Blue

Description

A dark blue overjacket with bell sleeves and wide trim around the neck and down the front opening. The jacket extends to just above the knee. It closes in front with a single closure. It's possible this dress shares an underdress with her blue costume during the final joust, but we know that in the banquet scene she's wearing culottes along with the other women on the dance floor.
