Batgirl Costume

Description

This was put together for a friend's superhero costume party. Anything that could be pre-bought is. I appliqued the bat onto a mock turtleneck. The cape is a semicircle of fabric sewn to the shoulder of the shirt with 8 arcs cut around it. It is made of polyester double knit and lined with yellow silk essence. The belt is silk essence backed with three layers of fusible interfacing and held with fabric glue. The mask I found at a local costume shop. Total time to complete: 3 days
