Katy Cat Costume -- The Fantastic Adventures of Unico

I had help on this one. This was made for a friend who helped out on the design and construction and did all the leg work on finding accessories. The pattern is mostly self drafted, with the bodice and sleeves ripped from a dress pattern and modified beyond recognition. The skirt, collar, and cuffs were all created from scratch, as was the apron. We used some sort of Rayon/Polyester Gabardine for the dress because it was the right color. The fabric was horrible to work with; it frayed like mad and slipped under the sewing machine's foot. The apron was made with a cotton broadcloth.

The wig and shoes came from ebay. The bow is satin ribbon attached to a plastic hair comb. We had to stiffen the tails to stand up.
